The myth you are living

Jung once wrote that he had to ask himself the question: what is the myth you are living? He found he could not answer it, and the discovery unsettled him into the work that became his life.

Most of us inherit our myth. The dutiful one. The strong one. The one who earns her place.

The work of individuation is not to escape myth, for we cannot, but to take authorship of it.
