A room of your own
There is a reason the old houses kept a study.
A room with a door that closed. A desk that held one piece of work at a time. The understanding, built into the architecture itself, that a person who is becoming something needs somewhere to do it.
Most of us live without that room now, and not only in the literal sense.
Sovereignty begins as a spatial practice: a boundary you draw before you know what it protects.
This letter is about building that room inwardly. Not as retreat, but as the seat of your authority.
